Silent Movie

The Strand Theatre is proud to present professional theatre  organist Dennis James during the silent film screening of  comedic movies The Balloonatic and Safety Last on Sunday,  May 7 at 2pm. Dennis is a regular performer at silent film festivals internationally.  His restored period-sourced scores for films by Chaplin, Keaton, Lloyd, Valentino,  Gish, Barrymore, Garbo among many others are performed around the country every  year by included the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, and the  Toronto Symphony among many others. 

Price for admission is $10. Tickets will be available at the door.
