AUDITION INFORMATION

The Strand Theatre announces auditions for Love, Loss and What I Wore. This evocative and moving play features monologues and ensemble pieces about women, clothes and memory. Based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman and written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron, the show covers important subjects – mothers, prom dresses, mothers, buying bras, mothers, hating purses and why we only wear black.

Love, Loss and What I Wore will be presented October 17, at 7:00pm, and October 18, at 2:00pm. Sadie Varlas will direct.

Auditions will be held on Thursday, September 3, at 6:30pm, at the Strand. Auditions will consist of reading monologues from the play. While it is encouraged to review the monologues prior to the audition, they do not need to be memorized. Video submissions are also accepted.

Individual monologue rehearsals will be scheduled 1-2 times per week from September 7 to September 25, with full cast rehearsals taking place from September 28 to October 17.
