Bealtaine

Bealtaine is a folk band based in Pittsburgh, striving to keep traditions alive while borrowing influence from the modern world. With roots in Irish and Scottish folk, songs from the Canadian Maritimes, trad tunes, and working-class anthems, Bealtaine looks to make their own mark in the folk music world.

You are invited to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Strand for an evening of Irish revelry in memory of our dear friend, Larry Freeland. Larry’s nephew, Conor Freeland, is a member of Bealtaine and credits his Uncle Larry as being the band’s first fan.

Tickets can be purchased online or at Frame & Fortunes (239 Jefferson Avenue) in Moundsville.

Tickets go on sale on Monday, January 6, 2025.
