Dancing flowers! Flurries of snowflakes! Beautiful fairies and a legion of mice! See them all swoop and soar across the Strand Theatre’s stage as Oglebay Institute’s Youth Ballet Company dances the holiday favorite “The Nutcracker” on December 11 at 3pm. Beautifully costumed dancers bring this magical story to life, transporting viewers into a Christmas fantasy. We hope that you will gather your family and join us for this unforgettable holiday journey which is a part of Oglebay Institute’s Children’s Theatre Season, bringing classic stories from the page to the stage through theatre and dance.
