About The Event

We welcome the Missoula Children’s Theatre back to the Strand on June 20-25. This is  a FREE children’s acting workshop for children ages Kindergarten-12th Grade. Interested  students will pre-register online and report to the Strand Theatre on Monday, June 20.  Registration will be open from May 2-June 13 at www.strandtheatrewv.com/events. Participation will be limited to the first sixty registered students.   

Auditions will be held for the production of THE FROG PRINCE on Monday, June 20  from 10am to 12pm. Those auditioning should arrive at 9:30 and plan to stay for the full  two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately  following the audition. All students entering Grades 1-12 are encouraged to audition.  Students must have completed Kindergarten to participate. No advance preparation is necessary. All pre-registrants will  audition for assigned roles in the production. Assistant Directors will also be cast to assist with the technical aspects of  the production.

The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. The MCT  Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 10am to 2:15 each day. THE FROG PRINCE will  be presented on Saturday, June 25 at the Strand Theatre. The Missoula Children's Theatre residency is brought to you by  the Strand Theatre with support from the Evan G. Roberts Charitable Trust.
