The Strand is thrilled to be bringing one of the country's most-beloved musicals to Marshall County: Mamma Mia!
Featuring the music of Swedish pop band ABBA, this worldwide phenomenon follows young Sophie who, before her wedding, sets out to discover who her father is by inviting three of her mother's former lovers to the Greek island where they live. Watch, laugh, and sing along as Sophie's mother, Donna, comes face-to-face with her past loves, reunites with her former girl band, and general pre-wedding chaos takes place.
Mamma Mia! runs August 2-4. Showtimes are 7 pm on August 2 & 3, and 2 pm on August 4.
There will be a special Mamma Mia karaoke session with the cast after the show on August 2. For $5, re-enter the theatre and sing along with cast members on stage while enjoying some light refreshments.
Tickets go on sale Monday, July 15 at 9:00 am and can be purchased by clicking here. You can also purchase tickets by visiting Frame and Fortunes on Jefferson Avenue.
