Encompassing the Arts for Seniors - Improvisation

Improvisation – April 12, 19, 26 (no participation limit) Micah Underwood, local actor, director, and youth theatre instructor will lead participants in the art of improvisation.  Participants will learn and exercise skills in character creation, storytelling, and creativity through short-form improvisation. Improv offers a low-pressure forum for participants to explore theatre skills and have fun in a casual, social environment. During the culminating event, participants will take suggestions from the audience to guide their improv games. The course goal is to provide a low-pressure forum for participants to explore theatre skills, have a creative outlet for self-expression and have fun in a casual, social environment.

SHOWCASE OF TALENTS – May 24 Class participants from all phases will gather to share their newly found knowledge in a culminating showcase.
