Encompassing the Arts for Seniors

Painting - March 1, 8, and 15 (This class is limited to 18 participants) 

Ruth Keim, Sherrard Middle School art teacher, will lead her class in creating a unique landscape painting using one-point perspective. From the initial pencil sketch to the final acrylic painting, the students will gain understanding of process as well as learn how to create background colors, add detail and shading.  The course goal is to encourage visual art as a form of self-expression.

SHOWCASE OF TALENTS – May 24 Class participants from all phases will gather to share their newly found knowledge in a culminating showcase.
