 Three Storytellers - Two Nights
Six Unique Performances!

On Friday, May 29th and Saturday, May 30th the Art of Story Telling will return to the Ohio Valley.  The Strand Theatre Preservation Society will host three well known storytellers for the Fourth Annual Strand Theatre Storytelling Festival.

Performances will being at 6:30 PM.  This year's festival will be held within the walls of the Former WV Penitentiary in the Mollahan Building

Tickets can be purchased at the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce,
Home Towne Florist, or Moundsville Pharmacy.  Tickets also available at the door.

The Festival will Feature the Following Artists:

Bil Lepp is a five-time champion of the West  Virginia Liars Contest. He tells original, hilarious, tales that will bring a smile to the face of even the most ill humored person. Bil Lepp is a nationally known storyteller with a down home feel.

Kim Weitkamp
is best known for her original Pitscreek  stories, Ms. Weitkamp will charm the audience with her warm storytelling style that volleys back and forth between stand-up comedy and heart felt story weaving. Weitkamp is best known for her skills in laying down a whopper of tale, combining humor,    original childhood stories and just a touch of fertilizer to create     stories that can compete with the best of them.

Michael Reno Harrell  is an award winning songwriter, as well as a veteran storyteller and entertainer, and he’s from the South…the Southern Appalachian Mountains to hone it a bit finer. One could compare Michael’s performances to his granddaddy’s pocket knife, well warn and familiar feeling, but razor sharp and with a point. He gets the job done.

Again, there will be TWO Uniqure Performances on Friday and Saturday evenings beginning at 6:30 pm at the Mollahan Building within the wall of the former West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville, West Virginia
