Preservation Society will present a Mystery Dinner Theatre
"Scooby Clue" at the Mollohan Building within the walls of the Former West Virginia
Penitentiary.
April 1, 2010 ~ Celebrity Night at Ponderosa
On April 1 the Strand theatre Preservation Society will have a
Celebrity Night at Ponderosa in Glen Dale from 4:00P.M. until
9:00P.M.. Board members and Friends of the Strand will be serving
that evening. Come in, enjoy a meal and support the Strand.

On Saturday, June 12th, the Strand Theatre Preservation Society is
having its second annual Shrimp Boil at St. Jude Park in
Glen Dale. In addition to shrimp, menu also includes potatoes,
corn, and sausage all cooked in the same pot. There will be
ice cream and a cash bar. Jeans and tee shirts are more than
acceptable, they’re recommended. Advance
reservations are a MUST.

7 Celebrity Night at Ponderosa
November 6, 2010 ~ Elk Feast
The Strand Theatre Preservation Society is planning an Elk Feast
on Saturday, November 6 at the Grand Vue banquet hall at Grand Vue
Park in Moundsville, W.V. Social hour begins at 6::30P.M. and
dinner will be served at 7:00P.M. It will be a sit down dinner
served home style. Menu includes Hors d’ oeuvres, appetizer, Elk
burgundy, (farm fed and shipped in from PA).potatoes and gravy,
vegetable of the day, homemade bread, jams, and preserves, dessert,
wine and coffee. There will be a cash bar. Come in costume and
join in all the fun. ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ONLY. Details to
