Strand Theatre's Grisell Center for the Arts

Open to Public 

Beginning Tuesday, January 19th, visitors were welcome to visit the Grisell House at 804, 5th Street, Moundsville, to view the extensive art display by very talented artists from Marshall County.   The Grisell Center is located across the street from the Strand Theatre and the Marshall County Senior Center.   Presently on display at the Center are various artistic mediums; water color paintings, oil paintings, charcoalo, sculpture, free-hand sketches and carvings.  Many items are for sale by their owners at very reasonable rates.

The Grisell Center  for the Arts was donated to the Strand Theatre Preservation Society by the Sid & Bonnie Grisell Family.  The Strand Society is a nonprofit business, dedicated to "Restore the Strand And Build the Arts."

Regular Days and hours for the Grisell House are Tuesday thru Saturday from 12 noon to 5:00 PM.  In addition to the opportunity to view local artists' work, an interesting display of items from the Strand Theatre will be available for viewing.   For more information about the Strand Theatre go to www.StrandTheatreWV.com.
